I grew up in Northern California and after working many years for computer companies in Silicon Valley, I moved to Germany where I gained a firm grasp of the German culture and language by working for a German ad agency and the computer company, SAP AG. After a decade overseas, I returned to the United States and eventually settled in Alaska. Since then, I have traveled extensively throughout the Western United States.
I have worked for software companies, government contractors, non-profits, tribal corporations, higher education, healthcare, military, natural resources, and small businesses.
My fine art is rooted in the concept of freedom of expression and sense of place.
